(That's me, Mrs.Cook and the backside of Mr.Cook- my favorite side)

I am currently a Senior (super-Senior) at Boise State University, majoring in Secondary Education with an Emphasis in English (I want to teach middle school or high school students to not hate literature, poetry, or writing- to at least tolerate its presence in their lives). I began my studies at BSU as a Mass Communication Major with an Emphasis in Journalism, one brief stint at the school paper however, led me to realize while I love to write- I don't love to write what other people love for me to write (i.e. a top ten list of local martial arts studios that I created in fifteen minutes which replaced my piece on the Idaho Dance Theatre and its importance to local and university life). And so with one semester left to complete my degree I decided I should teach, allowing me to pursue my passion of English, make a difference in the world (the original reason I wanted to be a journalist- until I realized the only difference I could make would be the same difference as my editor/publisher wanted me to make), and pursue a free lance writing career during the summers. And so here I am, a super-Senior whos life is not at all working out according to the plan, but it's probably much better that it's not.
I pay the bills as a server at Buffalo Wild Wings and I am beginning another new opportunity with Arbonne. I hope to one day be the primary bread winner for myself and Mr.Cook so he can leave the military when he decides it's no longer what he wants. I am a proud aunt and sister to one incredible mama and domestic goddess, everythinganythingaboutnothingreall.blogspot.com and the daughter of two amazing parents who are still very much in love (a wonderful example to me and Mr.C). I am a self-prolaimed reality TV junkie, an avid reader and writer, and I love to craft (even if nothing ever gets accomplished). I am trying new things (activities in the pursuit of more time with Mr.C) like mountain biking (see the upcoming honeymoon post), running, swimming, and golf.
And let the rest of the mystery reveal itself to you via My Life as Mrs.Cook!
